Introduction: State the name of the position/job title or similar area in which you would like to obtain employment. Let the employer know that you have researched their company by telling them what interests you and what impressed you about the company.
Body of Letter: Highlight the skills that you feel would be necessary for the position or qualities the company is looking for, including personal traits, experience, and education. Provide examples to back up your skills/qualifications. Show how the company would benefit from hiring you and that you can meet their needs.
Closing: Refer to your enclosed resume. Let them know when you will follow up and that you look forward to speaking with them.
